Terms of sale & end-user license

1. The license

Buying Backline or Backline Team gives you a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the version you bought and every 1.x update on the number of computers your tier allows at the same time (Backline: 2, Backline Team: 6). Backline Free may be used without charge within its limits.

2. Activation

Paid tiers are activated online once per computer and re-checked periodically. You can move a license by deactivating a computer.

3. What you may not do

Share your license key publicly or use it on more computers than your tier allows.
Reverse engineer the licensing, except where the law allows it.

4. Refunds

Your audio and songs stay yours and stay on your computer. You are responsible for having the rights to perform the material you play.
